Luis Lugán is one of the most heterodox and interesting Spanish artists of the second half of the last century. He began his artistic production with works of constructivist figuration and later geometric abstraction; however, it was his work as a technician at Telefónica that led him to apply this knowledge to his oeuvre with the creation of audio-visual-tactile works and kinetic-musical shows. His work at the Centro de Cálculo of the University of Madrid allowed him to meet philosophers, semioticians and scientists that brought him knowledge of the most innovative aesthetic contributions of his time.
